This practical, hands-on taster day focuses on decorative techniques for working both hard and soft leathers to create jewellery and other accessories. Projects can include cuffs and wrist-pieces, necklaces, body adornments and hair accessories as well as tassels, key rings, belts, purses and more.
Experiment with a range of techniques including embossing, quilting, 'intrecciato' weaving, hand stitching and surface decoration, such as moulding, foiling, stud work and a host of other ways to develop original treatments and finishes for your own range of projects or accessories collections.
You may choose to develop a range of swatches and design ideas, alongside constructing your own small fashion accessories to take away.
